Notes re Death date. National Cemetary Internment card (STAMPED Sept 26th, 1961) intended for Jackson Thornton who served in the 123rd USCI references a death date April 2, 1894. Review of the original Mortuary Record Jefferson County Kentucky notes the death is for a 46 year old man. This soldier would have been 75 years old.
