Family Notes:

In reviewing the Louisville City directories between 1870 and 1913, I am able to determine the ‘spouse’ for Alice Hays as George Price, and daughter Leeanna went by the name Annie or Anna Price. Mother, daughter, and granddaughter lived together from 1880 until Melvina’s death in 1906. No further information could be found for Melvina Hays’ daughter Annie Hays. Anna Price later married Fred Owsley and continued to live in Louisville. It is probably this Mrs. Ann Owsley who is the informant on the death certificate for Alice Price.
