A death certificate was found for Jane Overall (1861-1923). Born and died in Spencer Co Ky. She is named as being the child of Barney & Winnie Scott on her death certificate, the informant was her husband Henry Overall. A search for Jane’s maiden name was conducted by searching the records of their children. All but one found stated her name was Bowman( One cited Stillwell). These records question as to if Jane/Janie/ Jennie was the biological daughter of Barney Scott.
In 1920 Winnie Scott is enumerated with Joe Bowman relationship “Mother”.
