This researcher was able to identify the soldier’s child Daisy Teeters, using her marriage certificate and a soldiers pension payment card, however was not able to verify her birth mother. On the 1870 census, Walter Teeters (5) was listed in the household. However, on the 1900 census, he was listed as Irene Teeters son, with the surname of Scott. Unable to verify his birth father. This researcher was not able to locate the family on the 1880 census.
